SUMMARY


The Manager of Technology Recruiting is responsible for creating, leading and developing a team of in-house corporate recruiters who are focused on acquiring top talent for assigned business units. Working in collaboration with division executives, hiring managers, business leaders, and HR Managers the  Manager of Technology Recruiting will drive the development of recruiting strategies for key positions and lines of business. These strategies and programs will include tactics to successfully attract, assess and hire talent in assigned business units and across the company.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Consult with division executives, hiring managers, business leaders, and HR Managers to understand current and future (short and long-term) business goals and how they translate into talent needs
  • Collaborate with division executives and recruiting team to develop and oversee the implementation of comprehensive recruiting strategies for assigned business units and key positions
  • Manage the allocation of requisitions and recruiting projects amongst a team of recruiters and recruiting support staff
  • Manage a team of recruiters, sourcers and coordinators including: hiring, training, developing, and assessing performance. Set work standards and performance objectives and hold team accountable against such standards
  • In partnership with internal clients and HR leadership, define key acquisition metrics and ensure standards are understood within the supported Division; develop additional metrics for recruiting programs and/or needs.
  • Review recruiting data from all available sources (internal applicant tracking system, external recruiting tools, employee surveys, etc.) to identify trends and emerging issues. Promptly identify solutions and develop and recommend action plans to HR Leadership.
  • Understand changes within the relevant labor market, the industry and the business, and adjust recruitment strategies as needed.  Proactively communicate labor market trends and practices to clients and HR leadership.  Oversee research to gather competitive data and acquisition trends to educate and communicate to internal clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal aspects of the recruiting function as well as internal compliance of selection and recruitment process.
  • Additional responsibilities as future needs dictate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field OR combination of education and equivalent work experience required
  • 10+ years of recruitment experience in a corporate setting with at least 5 years of experience developing recruiting strategies for a division, department or key positions required
  • 2 + years leading or managing a team of recruiters or other professionals required
  • Demonstrated track record of building effective relationships and partnerships with leaders, hiring managers and colleagues (HR, Marketing, Communications, etc.) at all levels of the organization required
  • Demonstrated success building a team that is focused on recruiting top talent and is aligned with business needs is required
  • Must have proven experience defining key metrics, holding a team and individuals accountable to set metrics and reporting metrics and status to business leaders
  • Must have demonstrated experience influencing, mentoring and coaching direct reports and exhibiting managerial courage with clients, peers and colleagues
  • Must have strong customer focus, communication skills (verbal and written), business acumen, attention to detail, and negotiation skills
