We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Social Media Content Specialist, Marketing and Communications, Content Strategy & Channel Execution to join our BNY Mellon Investment Management Social Media team. This is a hybrid role located in London, United Kingdom.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways including, but not limited to: 

  • Provides strategic input, creates content, manages approval process, and executes campaigns across BNY Mellon Investment Management’s social media channels, coordinating with extended teams across Investment Management and the COE 
  • Plans, develops, and oversees the optimization of social content in a variety of engaging formats (e.g., long-form & short-form posts, carousels, polls, event promotion, etc.) on BNY Mellon Investment Management’s organic social media channels
  • Manages BNY Mellon Investment Management’s social media pages, communities, and ambassador program liaising with key stakeholders, such as the communications and compliance teams
  • Identifies and advocates for the adoption of social media content best practices. Stays current on new technologies and industry trends and advocates for the adoption of innovative strategies and solutions
  • Manages internal and external approval, compliance, audit and regulatory processes and documentation for organic social.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Relevant years of hands-on social media experience
  • Savvy, creative, and technically skilled in the use of enterprise social media management and publishing software such as Sprinklr, Khoros, Hootsuite for Business, Sprout, etc. (as examples)
  • Versatile writer skilled with tailoring content based on audience and platform(s)
  • Strong collaboration skills, team-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree required
