About the role: 

The Graphic Designer role functions within the Member Engagement team to create high quality print and digital materials that help build awareness and drive member utilization of Premise Health services. This role will be responsible for the development of a wide range of materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, banners, PowerPoint presentations, infographics, email templates, landing pages, digital ads; and other varying requests under the direction of the Director of Digital and Creative and the Senior Designer. Prior agency and/or in-house creative experience is a plus. 

Job Requirements: 

  • Work closely with all members of the Member Engagement team to brainstorm, design and produce a variety of multimedia graphics including print collateral, digital assets and videos to fulfill overall business objectives.
  • Strategically define and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts to communicate the benefit of multiple lines of service to the member.
  • Provide fresh ideas for new design and analyze, refine and improve existing design to increase member awareness and utilization of Premise Health product offerings through the use and delivery of design materials.
  • Play a key role in preserving a consistent look-and-feel throughout the design and development of materials, protecting existing approved brand guidelines in all creative development.
  • Organize and archive all creative files developed under the approved shared file-naming system.
  • Maintain asset inventory of collateral, stock photography and promotional materials.
  • Select, retouch, color-correct and manipulate photography and images.
  • Work with vendors, outside agencies and internal departments to collaborate, ideate and develop various projects.
  • Support project management of graphic design initiatives under the direction of the Senior Designer, utilizing approved project management platform.
  • Manage final production of print, web and email projects.
  • Recommend techniques and best practice solutions to produce desired visual effects to achieve required results.
  • Research and apply trends within the print and digital space and maintain cutting edge industry knowledge.
  • Present strategic design initiatives; create compelling assets while leveraging a consistent visual style across brand assets
  • Assist the senior designer with managing project details, as assigned

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, advertising or related field or equivalent work experience.

Experience: 

  • 3-5 years of relevant agency and/or in-house creative visual design experience.
  • Exceptional design skills, including branding and visual identity, print layout, website, mobile and email template design, iconography, information design and digital/social graphic creation.
  • Experience designing for both print and digital platforms.
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator with strong InDesign and XD skill level)
  • Knowledge or familiarity with motion graphics or video editing is a plus.
  • Experience with WordPress, SalesForce Marketing Cloud or similar email automation platform.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite as team members and most clients and are PC users.
  • Experience with UI, UX, writing and editing code, wireframe development, social media, SEO and analytics are all a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with a project management software (Wrike, Monday, Asana) is a plus, but not required

Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Strong online portfolio showcasing a variety of professional print and digital work demonstrating exceptional graphic design principles and technical expertise required for consideration.
  • Mastery in visual communication and graphic design fundamentals such as composition, layout, typography and color theory.
  • Experience designing email templates, websites, brochures, direct mail collateral, iconography and large-format graphics preferred.
  • Ability to utilize design background with marketing experience to create, improve and optimize content to drive member activation and utilization.
  • Highly creative with the ability to interpret and verbalize ideas, needs or concepts and deliver design that visually communicates the message effectively.
  • Understands and stays up-to-date on current design trends and techniques.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail when finalizing designs and creating and packaging files.
  • Good working knowledge of print process with ability to meet brand guidelines.
  • Crystal clear communication, both written and verbal; ability to manage multiple projects with various timelines.
  • Independent, organized worker with high attention to detail who is able to set priorities and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in an onsite and virtual team atmosphere, collaborating with content writers, digital specialists and other designers.
  • Completes work correctly and efficiently to meet appropriate deadlines.

For individuals living in California, Colorado, and New York City only, Premise Health is required to include an estimate of the salary and benefits for this role. While a number of factors influence salary, our estimated California, Colorado, and New York City compensation is $54,000 - $60,000. Please note, this is a general guideline and your experience qualifications, geographic location, and other factors will be taken into consideration.
