Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and executive Planning and Design work on wastewater and water utilities including treatment plant, and piping design - managing all disciplines.
  • Visit Prospective Clients
  • Prepare proposals for water/wastewater and stormwater work.
  • Manage assigned projects for scope, budget and schedule with technical staff.
  • Prepare permits and interface with Regulators as required.
  • Participate and/or Lead project team in planning and/or designing a major engineering project and coordinate special planning, economic, and engineering studies.
  • Make decision and solve problems

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Civil/Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Project Management Experience with all Engineering Disciplines.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania - minimum
  • Accomplished and multitalented Civil Engineer with more than 15 years of significant experience designing, planning, managing and administering public works projects including providing maintenance support for municipal utility systems (storm water, sanitary, sewer and water).
  • Experienced preparing Contract Documents, plans, and bid specifications for construction projects.
  • Experience representing municipal clients at public hearings/meetings.
  • Can mentor junior staff.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations and prepare written reports and documents.
