The Global Channel Management Director is responsible for improving the effectiveness of Advanced Material’s (AM) channel management around the world with a focus on expanding market access, optimizing our share of the business, developing world class distributor partners, creating value-add programs, driving growth, and improving margins. They are expected to work cross functionally and collaborate with the sales, marketing, and enablement teams to build a fully integrated and highly valued partner ecosystem.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Develops and implements global Channel Strategy to grow business, based on analysis of regional regulations and product demand in the aftermarket at all levels of the channel, customer needs and competitor positions.
  • Cross LOB Channel management playbooks to cover channel’s lifecycle – channel/distributor sourcing & qualification, on boarding, planning/budgeting/KPI setting, evaluation & rewarding, renewal& termination. Etc.
  • Continue to push digitalization of channel management/support systems – e marketing, lead management, e-commerce, order management, E2E logistics management etc.
  • Drives channel programs and incentives.
  • Assess effectiveness of current channel and identify growth strategies.
  • Oversees all elements. of price support and other commercial guidelines.
  • Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
  • Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.
  • Consulted in the development and execution of all contractual relationships with existing and new Channel partners.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to develop, establish, and direct channel and distribution strategies, programs, and best practices.
  • Develop a product flow/distributor inventory/POS model improving demand forecast accuracy.

MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA desired.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, program management, or product strategy/management.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce.com and other data/dashboard management tools
