Job Summary:

rag & bone is looking for a Vice President, Digital who will be responsible for managing and growing the ecommerce business, growth marketing, site operations, and site merchandising globally. This leader is data-driven, intellectually curious, a growth marketing expert, and capable of leading and developing multiple teams at once. Key responsibilities include overseeing paid marketing, lifecycle/retention marketing, site operations, and site merchandising. This role will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, have accountability for e-commerce P&Ls, and contribute to the broader company strategy as a member of the Executive team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team in continuously evolving website to deliver a best of class customer experience, while achieving the financial objectives of the business
  • Develop and drive a strategic, long-term roadmap for e-commerce along with annual/quarterly performance plans including revenue, gross profit, operating expense, and media budget
  • Collaborate with Technology teams to strategize the tech roadmap and prioritization
  • Monitor daily performance analytics, website traffic, and product performance
  • Develop and leverage connections in the digital commerce vendor community to stay current with leading developments in digital commerce technology, user experience technology, and marketing platforms
  • Build systems, tools and dashboards for measuring, experimenting and sharing results on business-critical KPIs related to growth
  • Own the online customer journey, defining specific landmarks in the journey, overcoming roadblocks, and executing programs that push for deeper customer engagement, increase retention, and drive revenue
  • Manage and develop a team of driven, highly-engaged individuals across performance and retention marketing, site operations, and data science
  • Create relevant KPI targets and ensure all resources are appropriately managed towards their achievement. Provide executive level communication on all metrics

Requirements: (skills, qualifications, education, etc)

  • 10+ years in an ecommerce leadership position with emphasis on digital growth
  • 15+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Enthusiastic leader, with deep expertise in digital retailing and love of consumer brands
  • Results-driven, proactive, with a hands-on approach in campaign and experiment management to hit key goals
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, highly-skilled at project prioritization, and a builder at heart
  • Embraces a "player/coach" approach, able to dive into the details when necessary while also able to see around corners and drive long-term strategic step change
  • Highly quantitative, analytical, and a technical self-starter with the ability to process and understand large data sets
  • Have prior experience working in both a large best in class ecommerce company and with a high-growth startup and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated strategic business planning and people management skills
  • Ability to work with all levels within an organization

The estimated salary for this role is $210,000-$300,000 based on background and experience.
