NVIDIA's Cloud data centers host ground-breaking products across computing to machine learning applications for autonomous vehicles and healthcare. At the heart of our data centers (DCs) is the ability to engineer mechanical and electrical designs in close coupling to NVIDIA's industry-leading GPU and DGX products! We are seeking an Omniverse Intern passionate about DCs CFD plugin in Omniverse twins, which are virtual representations of physical DC infrastructure, providing real-time insights and predictive analytics to chip in the development of CFD-integrated DTs for Data Centers.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate with the DCE team to build and improve digital twin models.
  • integrate data from various sources, such as IoT sensors, monitoring systems,
  • and network devices, into digital twin environment.
  • Assist real-time monitoring dashboards development and alerts within the digital twin to ensure accurate representation and analysis of data center conditions.
  • Simulate various scenarios and analyze the impact on DC operations, including capacity planning, energy efficiency optimization, and fault prediction.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of digital twin configurations, data sources, and simulation results for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DCs operations, IT, and engineering, to bring together requirements and align digital twin development with operational needs.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in data center technologies, digital twins, and data analytics to bring innovative solutions to the project.

What we need to see:

  • Pursuing a master's or Ph.D. degree program in Computer Science, Mechanical engineering, data science, or a related field.
  • Experience of working with Cadence 6Sigma Software.
  • Strong programming skills, with experience in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Basic understanding of data center’s thermodynamics, CFD, infrastructure and operations.

The hourly rate for our interns is 19 USD - 93 USD. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
