In this role you will…

1. Demand Planning and Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and insights for demand planning.
  • Utilize historical data, market trends, and business intelligence tools to develop accurate demand forecasts.
  • Analyze demand patterns, including seasonality and market dynamics, to accurately predict future reagent demand.

2. Inventory Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers and production teams to ensure an optimal stock of reagents.
  • Identify potential shortages or excess stock and proactively address any supply chain issues.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to develop procurement strategies that minimize inventory holding costs while ensuring uninterrupted supply.

3. Data Analytics and Insights:

  • Utilize SAP, Power BI, Power Query, and Spotfire to analyze demand data and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate demand insights to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain data models to support demand forecasting and analysis.

Develop and innovative solutions to continuously improve process management (e.g Power Automate) and data governance

4. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with QC operations, production planning, procurement, and quality assurance teams to align on reagent demand requirements.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide demand-related insights and recommendations.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

5. Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously evaluate and improve demand forecasting methodologies and processes.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements to optimize reagent demand management.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and market trends related to demand planning and data analytics.

Why you? ;

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
  • At least 5 to 10 years of experience
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics tools, including SAP, Power BI, and Spotfire.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and draw actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate demand insights to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards related to reagent demand management.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on driving efficiencies and optimizing processes.
