About the Role

The Senior Marketing Analyst will play a pivotal role in handling and completing day-to-day responsibilities with minimal guidance from the manager. The senior analyst will focus on ensuring accurate and timely database updates are made by collaborating with our database service provider, eVestment, and their OMNI team. The Senior Marketing Analyst uses various tools to generate data reports, troubleshoot database / Omni-related issues, and contribute to process improvement. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong attention to detail, the ability to learn and adapt quickly, a natural curiosity and a proactive, positive, can-do attitude.

About the Team

The Global Marketing Database Management team is an essential component of the global marketing group. The team is dedicated to the comprehensive management and distribution of a broad spectrum of qualitative and quantitative data about Loomis Sayles and its products. This data encompasses a growing portfolio of our company’s investment products and vehicles and spans all asset classes.

Our team is comprised of a group of skilled analysts who function as the primary interface for all database-related inquiries. Our analysts bring a wealth of expertise and knowledge, ensuring that we can efficiently handle a wide range of tasks and effectively collaborate with various internal groups and external parties. Our role extends beyond data management to include client servicing, unearthing new business opportunities, and providing solutions for data-related issues and improvements.

Our commitment to excellence ensures the highest standards of accuracy and reliability in our database management. Our work provides the foundation for effective product marketing in the growing marketing database space as well as successful engagement with institutional investors and investment consultants worldwide.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate updates with the OMNI team, monitoring monthly and quarterly update progress, using programming tools for report generation and ensuring timely updates across all of the marketing databases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database / Omni-related issues.
  • Keep both internal teams and external parties informed about database update progress.
  • Assist in process improvement and implementation. Work closely with the Omni and internal technology teams to identify process inefficiencies and develop solutions.
  • Maintain the integrity of marketing database information, ensuring accuracy and correcting discrepancies, as needed.
  • Assist with team projects

Qualifications & Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the investment or financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated excellent knowledge of investment industry terminology and concepts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and knowledge of VBA, R, and Python programming is a plus.
