We are looking for: 

  • The Sales Account Manager will drive and manage day to day commercial responsibilities and activities. He/she will report to the Regional Market Director, APAC, work in close relationship with India Commercial Manager, Regional Business team, R&I, Supply Chain for the deployment of India Business strategy.

We count on you for: 

  • Be accountable for the sales and profitability of customers under his/her responsibility. To develop and manage customer portfolios in line with Novecare/India Coatings Strategy and ensure sustainability growth. 
  • MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities, assess customer needs and potential, propose a business development and action plan
  • Produce accurate opportunities lists and forecasts
  • Ensure sales and profitability of assigned Customers/prospects in India.
  • Define, establish, implement the business and action plans in order to achieve sales and profit objectives set by Regional Market Director
  • He/She will drive sales through channel management and deploy strategy for both Direct/Indirect sales in accordance with Commercial Manager/RMD overall direction.
  • Manage local opportunities and project pipes to ensure successful commercialization
  • Manage price increase initiatives in accordance with business targets
  • Ensure constant feedback of market trend, competitive movement and customer requirements to regional business team, production, supply chain and R&D departments
  • Manage the customer forecast and ensure the profitability of domestic and export business via managing product cost and price
  • Manage local sales activities to ensure effective time and cost spent on customers

  • Grow and optimize the volume-price of commodity and specialty businesses in a profitable way

  • Qualification:
  • Bachelor/ Master Degree in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering/ MBA (preferred)
  • English mandatory
  • Length of working experience: minimum 3-5 years working experience in sales
  • Technical experience is a plus
