We are looking for a Manufacturing Process and Calibration Coordinator reporting to Operations Quality to coordinate activities related to the control and improvement of manufacturing processes and Calibration activities. In this role, you will be a leader, ensuring quality control of processes to achieve operational objectives.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: 

  • Deploy the implementation and training strategy associated with process robustness.
  • Develop applications and processes to achieve the required level of robustness and standardize best practices to benefit future developments.
  • Optimize our processes by analyzing collected data and taking necessary actions to meet and maintain requirements.
  • As an expert in process robustness, coordinate, plan, and coach industrial engineering, assembly, and engineering teams to prevent issues, reduce risks and document learning and best practices.
  • Steer initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce risk, and standardize processes.
  • Leading the way in improving our processes and procedures and monitoring them to position ourselves as a centre of expertise.
  • Benchmark applicable technological innovations.
  • Collaboratively manage and carry out multidisciplinary projects for the continuous improvement of the manufacturing quality system.
  • Coordinate calibration activities with the aim of controlling product quality.

YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: 

  • Diploma of College Studies (DCS) or Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or the equivalent, with a strong interest in quality.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 or IATF 16949 standards would be an asset.
  • Ability to pick up new computer programs quickly.
  • Knowledge of Gagetrack would be an asset.
  • A natural way with customers and a great sense of initiative.
  • Organization, work planning, and rigorous execution.
  • A willingness to travel occasionally to different BRP sites.
