POSITION SUMMARY
Quanta Magazine seeks an energetic and versatile web producer to produce article packages for online publication, and to update and manage its award-winning website. The web producer will work closely with the art staff in researching, acquiring and preparing visual assets for publication, with editors in assisting in the editorial workflow of the magazine and with web developers in coordinating website maintenance tasks.
The ideal candidate will be a digital-savvy producer with good news and design judgment, professional communication skills, a strong interest in science and mastery of content management systems and media editing software. Experience in newsroom environments and basic familiarity with journalistic standards and ethics are a plus.
This full-time position is based on-site in New York City and reports to Quanta’s art director.
