Job Description:

THE OPPORTUNITY

Based in New York City and reporting to the VP, Digital Marketing, this position will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of holistic Paid Social strategies for properties under the Scholastic umbrella. This role will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to broaden awareness, increase share of voice (SOV), and drive site traffic, revenue and ROAS.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead development and execution of paid social media program, including, but not limited to: strategy development, campaign setup, optimization, and campaign management across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn Ads, etc
  • Execute paid social media plans on-budget and on-scope in a way that delivers results that meets or exceeds expectations
  • Partner with Design team to develop creative advertising media
  • Daily monitoring of new and existing campaigns for KPI performance; troubleshooting and running reports to identify optimization opportunities (audience targeting, ad copy, spend, etc.)
  • Oversee paid social request intake, calendaring and publishing for business unit partners and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor brand, competitor landscape and industry changes
  • Support invoice management and ad-hoc requests for forecasting, reporting, billing, etc
  • Lead paid social A/B and proof-of-concept testing
  • Oversee one direct report

Qualifications

HOW YOU CAN FIT (Qualifications) 

  • 3-5 years of hands-on paid social media marketing experience required
  • 3-5 years experience working with social media tools such as Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, etc
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including proficiency with Excel
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects, and strong prioritization skills to meet deadlines
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple workflows and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to influence and work cross-functionally across several internal teams.
  • Strong communication skills, with a keen eye for design and copy writing.
