What's on the Menu?

As a Senior Auditor, you will:

  • be part of a global team, participating in the planning and execution of operational and financial audits across Europe and Pacific Developed Markets (EPDM), West and East Emerging Markets (WEEM) and Asia Emerging Markets (AEM) markets. Being part of a global team will give potential opportunities to perform audits in the North America Zone, and global scale (company-wide) audits.
  • provide value-added assurance on key businesses processes (e.g. Revenue, Trade spend, Operations, Logistics, Procurement, including GBS processes etc) as well as audits on KH enterprise risks (e.g. ESG, Business Continuity, Cybersecurity etc).
  • have a chance to learn how each function at Kraft Heinz works and collaborates with each other. This gives an opportunity to have an understanding to overall company structure and to have access to key stakeholders across the globe.
  • have an opportunity to perform/participate in the execution of special projects.
  • Our ideal candidate must be able to work with multiple business units and teams in different cultures and Geographies, completing audits with a sense of urgency, agility, and risk-based prioritization aligned with Kraft Heinz strategy– from planning, audit execution to report issuance, working efficiently under project time constraints and deadlines.

Key Ingredients

Technical:

  • Must be able to quickly learn and understand diverse business environments and systems and develop and implement audit testing, and create clear supporting documentation in assigned areas under the direction of the Audit Manager.
  • IT literacy - use of computer applications and databases to collect information for audit analysis.
  • Ability to evaluate the system of internal controls to determine operational, business and financial risks.
  • Validating controls are working effectively, identifying control weaknesses and related business exposures.
  • Evaluating compliance with company policies and procedures as well as accounting standards.
  • Preparing audit issues and reports for senior management’s review, identifying root causes of complex issues and proposing valuable/effective solutions.
  • Working with Audit Manager in monitoring and supporting the auditee’s monthly progress against open audit points from past audits
  • Coordinating audit work with other team members, and completing audit with a sense of urgency from planning to report issuance.

Communication:

  • Communicating effectively orally and in writing by adopting appropriate communication style to individuals at all levels of the organization and remaining open to disagreement or new ideas.
  • Articulating understanding of business areas under review and demonstrates thorough sample testing and solid rationale for potential audit issues.
  • Updating the audit manager on audit progress and potential issues in a timely manner.

Leadership:

  • Developing an open and honest working relationship with those being audited and maintain a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Sharing best practices, tools and testing methodologies with other team members, and contribute to departmental projects.
  • Driving Internal Audit initiatives such as training, presentations to management and setting of departmental standards
  • Ability to work in an agile/fast paced environment and adjusting priorities based on risk and Kraft Heinz long term strategy

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in any area of business or IT - accounting or finance preferred, but not essential
  • You have an audit-relevant professional qualification (CPA, CIA, ISACA or other) advantageous, but NOT essential
  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience is preferred
  • You are willing and able to travel 20-40%
  • If you speak additional languages - great! It will be a strong plus (i.e., European, Chinese/Russian/Arabic/etc.)
  • Last, but not least, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and works well in small project-based teams
