Overview

This role plays a key part in supporting and contributing to business operations and planning activities within the broader technology team. Candidates will ideally have strong experience in building presentations, reviewing metrics and supporting other team members to enable department success.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supports daily operational activities for the department to drive the Strategic Objectives.
  • Utilises metrics for gathering, analysing, and reporting efficiency and makes recommendations for process improvements
  • Supports the coordination of timelines, templates, submissions and deliveries for key processes and project outcomes.
  • Brings together, tracks and follows up on post meeting actions, driving strong interlock with team members.
  • Drafts and works with communications to produce materials such as presentations, meeting papers, key briefs and videos.
  • Supports the Function’s purchasing process including vendor management
  • Recognises issues and raises problems through appropriate channels.
  • Supports the planning and logistics for Offsites and other significant technology, or division events and activities.

  • Measuring efficiency: Identifies and sets up key measures to monitor performance, reviewing, analysing and interpreting these to generate insights for decision-making.
  • Operational excellence: Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency while providing detailed transactions, services and products.
  • Project planning & delivery: Demonstrates experience in the subject area of planning, organising and handling resources and activities to achieve specified outcomes within a clearly defined timeframe and standards.
  • Stakeholder management: Builds trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand their drivers and negotiate positive outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Works optimally with others and adapts ways of working to achieve a common goal.
  • Communication: Communicates with clarity and precision, presenting technical information in a concise format that is audience appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Previous working experience in a similar industry / role
  • Knowledge in the use of excel, PowerPoint and outlook
  • Proficiency in building presentations to deliver key messages to varying partner groups
