The Post Operations Performance Analyst - Airline, ensures that the business has the best Management Information (MI) possible to support detailed root cause analysis, trend analysis and improvement in operational performance.

The statistics and reports produced by the Post Operations Performance Analyst - Airline, enables informed decision making, accurate forecasting, scenario planning and operational modelling within our Operations Control Centre, commercial flying program and wider business.

What will you do in the role?

Reporting to the Senior Operations Analyst, the Post Operations Performance Analyst - Airline, supports and champions the construction, compilation, and issue of relevant statutory and company post operational performance statistics and the subsequent production of Management Information (MI) reports. You will also:

  • Working closely with Business Intelligence (BI), and other key operational teams, to build models which ensure robust planning, forecasting and reporting of performance. You will be responsible for turning high level MI requirements into analytical software visualisations and focused dashboards using accurate and tested data.
  • Ensure provision and logging of all Delay Reports, Station Reports and Journey Logs and to assist the Duty Manager - Operations Control in the compilation of the daily Operational Performance Report (OPR).
  • Identifying Operational Projects and Processes where data is fragmented, does not exist or is poor due to reliance on excel and take these from an idea to implementation through leading a project or managing small cross functional working groups.

What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?

As our Post Operations Performance Analyst – Airline, you will have the ability to work with high volumes of technical data and be passionate about accurate record-keeping. You will also:

  • Have experience in a previous data analytics and reporting environment.
  • Must have strong analytical, operational and commercial skills.
  • Be highly motivated and proactive with a passion for data and analytics.
  • Must have excellent organisational skills, be methodical and pay close attention to detail using numerical, analytical and planning.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise work.
  • High degree of motivation and commitment to work in a fast paced, dynamic, changing environment.
