Function: New Business Development

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will develop the core skills and knowledge for a career in Sales and Customer Success. We are looking for hard-working, self-motivated individuals who want to grow their talents in business and a future in Software and Technology. You will be part of the greater Sales Development team who fuel our revenue engine. They are responsible for sourcing and creating new business opportunities, working very closely with the Account Executives, to identify prospective new clients across all areas of business and industry.

Day to day, you will be:

  • Researching new business opportunities, and working closely with some of ANZ’s best Software Account Executives
  • Conducting inbound and outbound calls with prospective customers
  • Driving meeting and engagement opportunities
  • Building trust and credibility across internal and external partners
  • Lead discovery calls, to understand prospective customers' unique needs
  • Champion event registrations and attending those events 
  • Attend team days, volunteering events, office collaboration and learning sessions
  • Develop your knowledge and practical skills through our structured onboarding, coaching and tools such as “Trailhead”

  • Prior experience in sales, or a strong desire to work with targets within a tech environment
  • A Growth mindset and solution-focussed approach
  • “Tech savvy”,and curiosity about technology and software
  • Proven record of success

  • Motivation when working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Proficient in pursuing daring time-sensitive tasks
  • Proactive and comfortable stepping out and taking initiative
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
