We are looking for a great Principle Business Systems Analyst to provide value-added expertise in supporting our financial systems and help business achieve their objectives by serving as a resource across functional boundaries and business areas. This individual provides consultation to define and achieve objectives, identify risk, and implement technology solutions.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner closely with the product and technical teams, develop detailed technical specification and functional documentation while ensuring there is alignment between all teams on the solution.
  • Monitor progress to ensure project deliverables are met, track progress to plan, and communicate status to project team members and management.
  • Coordinate incident and problem management, ensuring all steps during a production issue are being executed and addressed, and create/evaluate documented resolutions, analyze trends and recommend improvements for ways to prevent repeated future problems.
  • Assist in the ongoing review and maintenance of technical support documentation to reflect newly discovered issues or improvements in the relevant systems.
  • Review, analyze and evaluate financial user needs.
  • Prepare user stories, and write system specifications to support the design of possible technology solutions. Clarify any questions engineering team may have.
  • Create and review test cases to validate system output and expected test results and lead user acceptance testing.
  • Provide hands-on application/production support.
  • Improve operational metrics, business case development and performance measurement by analyzing current features and future system features.
  • Assist with change management efforts including:

o Creating a strategy to support adoption of the required changes.

o Assessing change readiness and identifying key stakeholders.

o Supporting the design, development, and delivery of communication.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field. Degree in MIS, finance, accounting or business is a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience in corporate financial reporting and/or systems analysis function
  • At least 5 years of experience in Dynamics 365 or AX 2012 Finance and Accounting.
  • Experience in supporting and implementing financial systems solutions (i.e. budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, inventory management)
  • Process redesign experience
  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Drive to research and learn new technologies/functionalities.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SQL and scripting capabilities.
  • Experience leading projects in a technical environment
  • Proven ability to lead external vendors
