We’ve an immediate opening for QA Automation Engineer – Retail!

What You Will Do:

  • Working as part of the Caesars Sportsbook Product Development team and driving our exciting US business and technology expansion for future opportunities in the US
  • You will own the quality vision and strategy for the local team, acting as quality champion to ensure the dev team members will be working together towards a better quality product
  • You will be a hands-on engineer in the team delivering automation with a focus on assuring the quality of what’s being built
  • You will define test approaches with the team as part of new feature development so that functional and non-functional requirements are validated during development
  • You will own and improve any existing QA assets that add value, refactoring them to bring further improvements or replacing them if there are better options available.
  • You will provide automated reports for test execution, detailing success/failure rates and coverage percentages
  • You are comfortable working in a constantly changing work environment and are fully dedicated to automate as much as possible with a focus on where the value is
  • You will contribute heavily to the QA community of practice and inspire the team to continuously improve
  • While there is a strong bias towards automation, you will also perform manual and exploratory testing if and when required as part of product development, to understand the product in more details and find defects
  • Provide transparency on QA activities with your team to encourage collaboration across the team
  • You will support the QA community of practice initiatives and take a leading role in inspiring the team to improve continuously and taking ownership of changes required 
  • You will propose adoption of new technologies and frameworks to improve the automated quality assurance. From POC through to implementation and the value it delivers.
  • You will be delivering a Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach to ensure we deliver as much quality assurance upfront as possible within the development teams to ensure we can produce scalable, quality software

What You Will Need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a QA automation engineer and software developer 
  • JavaScript/NodeJS, Testcafe/Playwright/cypress UI framework 
  • API/RESTful service testing experience
  • AWS platform experience 
  • Linux/Unix
  • Kubernetes/Docker
  • Familiar with CI/CD processes in GitLab
  • Test Libraries And Tools
  • Testcafe
  • Jest
  • K6 / Other performance test tools
  • Splunk/New Relic monitoring
  • Agile software product delivery 
  • Nonfunctional testing experience using tools such as K6

This role is remote, with one required visit to your designated home office per quarter.
