Why join Zing?

We’re only at the start of our exciting journey but we’ve already generated significant media interest. If you want to help build out a highly visible global fintech and work with a global bank as a partner, then this could be the opportunity for you! In addition, we offer:-

  • Competitive package + benefits
  • Hybrid work arrangements and flexible working hours
  • A dynamic and challenging working environment
  • Responsibility from day one in a fast growing and global company, in a start-up context
  • A vibrant and international team with diverse backgrounds
  • Regular social and team events

We’re looking for a Digital Copywriter to support Zing as we grow. You’ll be responsible for writing copy across our product and marketing communications. You’ve got a strong point of view on what creative excellence looks like, a solid understanding of how copy interacts with design and you’re comfortable with originating and challenging ideas, while working in-person and asynchronously with an international team. You’re an ambassador within the company for the brand and will help us bring to life our value proposition.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Writing. Making all the words shine across the Zing app and its marketing comms. From marketing campaigns and social media posts through to app interfaces, CRM comms, and other essential microcopy.
  • Collaborating. As part of a growing team, you’ll work day-to-day with copywriters, designers, developers, researchers, marketing specialists, product managers and decision-makers from other departments.
  • Creating. Originate copy, contribute ideas and solve creative problems that help take Zing to the next level (and advise on other copy-related challenges company-wide).
  • Conceptualizing. Explore how future product features, new market offerings and creative campaigns can come to life visually and verbally.
  • Systemizing. Manage many ongoing and ad hoc copy-related tasks and update their statuses across workflow and comms tools.
  • Scrutinizing. Share your writing with other copywriters and review theirs too. Strive for total consistency across touchpoints and make sure your copy is technically and tonally on the money.

Requirements

What we’re looking for

  • A brilliant portfolio. Stuffed with varied and relevant examples of your own copywriting.
  • Experience with UX writing. Maybe you’ve previously written copy under a UX-led methodology or worked deeply on digital products or services, such as apps, software or websites.
  • Growth-minded. You know how to originate effective copy and propose solutions that are simple, clear, future-proof and scalable. You also have the ambition to grow in your career by stretching beyond your comfort zone and venturing outside your lane.
  • Digital-first. In your writing and your working style. We have global teams so comfort with working and sharing information remotely, in real time and asynchronously, is key.
  • Design-sensitivity. The way your words look in context matter just as much to you as their content. You understand copy and content through the lens of design.

Whether you desire a new role that could take you to the top, or one that’ll simply take you in an exciting new direction, Zing offers opportunity, support and rewards that will help you realise your goals.
