Data Analytics & BI Lead

Why you?

  • Support overall data strategy for the organisation.
  • Deliver data analytics, modelling, transformation, integration, reporting etc. on business data to supporting business goals.
  • Design, implement and embed clear business intelligence reporting to enable business services to process information to drive strategic business actions effectively and efficiently.
  • Work closely with business services to identify issues and use data to propose solutions for effective decision making
  • Build algorithms and design experiments to merge, manage, interrogate and extract data to supply tailored reports to colleagues, customers or the wider organization
  • Support business services through data analytics, linking technology and business process to deliver drive efficiency across service.
  • Establish and embed service process improvements using data mining and management techniques where applicable to increase operational efficiency.
  • Analyze business problems and execute problem solving using best practices in problem management.
  • Analyzing business service performance through design and delivery of key performance indicators and reporting across business services
  • Proactive consulting with business services to transform data into information to eliminate risks and support optimizations to drive continuous improvement.
  • Produce service metrics working with services and compile into monthly reports for distribution and escalation, identifying trends, patterns and improvements using data
  • Horizon scan to stay up to date with the latest technology, techniques and methods
  • Test data mining models to select the most appropriate ones for use on a project
  • Use machine learning tools and statistical techniques to produce solutions to problems

Qualifications & Skills

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Strong data analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyze data, trends and produce reports.
  • Good understanding of ETL processes and tools i.e. Alteryx, KNIME etc.
  • Expert in Power BI / QlikView or relevant
  • Good understanding and usage of SQL and database/data warehouse modelling and design
  • Experience working in a service management environment and knowledge of service management processes, e.g. risk management, change management, problem management etc.
  • Knowledge about Python or R programming languages
  • Ability to understand, map and identify improvements to business processes

Preferred Qualifications:
