Description

Southeast Pain and Spine Care founded in 1997 and has since grown rapidly, currently operating a network of 15 outpatient pain management clinics in the Carolinas and Virginia. Southeast Pain and Spine Care partners with several hospitals in the Charlotte metro area to provide pain mgmt. services. Southeast Pain and Spine Care is a division of American Anesthesiology of NC, and its parent company is North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA). Southeast Pain and Spine Care is now a part of a nationwide network of over 6,000 clinicians, at more than 500 facilities in 20 states, serving over three million patients annually. NAPA is a clinician-led, clinically focused, single-specialty organization dedicated to the provision of high-quality anesthesia, pain management, and perioperative care.

Case Assignments

  • Assesses patient health by interviewing patients and performing physical examination including obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.
  • Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and laboratory studies and interpreting test results.
  • Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records
  • Performs therapeutic procedures
  • Provide care management
  • Provide patient education regarding procedures and medications
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information as stipulated in the HIPAA Privacy Rules

Shifts

Must have the ability to move from one clinic site to another if necessary

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a full schedule per practice template
  • Comply with administrative policies regarding corporate compliance, billing, coding, and documentation
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information as stipulated in the HIPAA Privacy Rules
  • Independently mobile
  • Approximately 80% of time spent standing / walking
  • Periodic moderate computer use
  • Periodic heavy physical exertion
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Requirements

  • Minimum: Graduate from an accredited Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant/Advanced Nurse Practitioner program, and a current Licensure in the state of North Carolina and South Carolina.
  • Minimum: 1 years’ experience working in an appropriate clinical setting. Pain management experience preferred, but not required.
