Job Description:

Our work depends on Subcontracts Administrator Associate joining our team to provide support with related work to the subcontract life cycle (but not limited to) Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Proposals, Subcontract Negotiation, Purchase Orders and Closeout.

HOW A SUBCONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR ASSOCIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Assists in the negotiation and administration of assigned NDAs, TA,s subcontracts, purchase orders, and other related agreements.
  • Assists in preparation of subcontract solicitations
  • Participates in the evaluation of subcontractor proposals for adherence to company and client requirements.
  • Participates in the review and coordination of approval of terms, conditions, and legal sufficiency of all subcontract documents.
  • Participates in negotiating and drafting subcontract modifications.
  • Prepares status reports and briefs management on issues or problems.
  • Assists management and subcontract personnel in preparing procedural changes.
  • Assists management and subcontract personnel in the resolution of subcontract-related problems.
  • Develops current knowledge of relevant subcontract procedures and practices.
  • Participates in special projects as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
  • Required Experience: 0-2 years of related experience in contracts administration or corporate environment
  • Required Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Effective administrative and organizational skills. Strong communication skills. Ability to operate and negotiate independently. Problem solving skills.
  • Security clearance level: None required, but ability to obtain if needed
  • Location: This is a hybrid position working at a GDIT facility in Herndon, VA and remote. Position will require working onsite 3 days a week.
