Overview

Susquehanna International Group (SIG) is looking for a Trading Application Support Associate to join our Proprietary Trading Services team in our Philadelphia area office. 

This is a fast paced environment and the role requires quick assessment, triage, and resolution of technical issues impacting our environment and business operations. You will work closely with traders and internal development teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Address queries and investigate issues that are escalated via monitoring applications, developers or directly from the traders.
  • Act as primary escalation point for production issues.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize proprietary applications.
  • Use several Real time monitoring applications which display a live view of the production environment.
  • Be responsible for deploying, reviewing, and testing changes to the production trading environment.
  • Collaborate with development and engineering teams to design new and improve functionalities within the production environment.
  • Document policies and procedures

What we’re looking for

  • 2+ years experience or more in an application or production support role.
  • B.S. in a technical discipline or equivalent industry experience.
  • Excellent IT analytical/troubleshooting skills to include extensive experience tracing problems through analyzing log files, following application/systems logic
  • Knowledge of scripting is an advantage (Powershell, Python)
  • Familiarity working in a ticketing system
  • Experience with technical documentation & support cases.
  • Experience with System Monitoring tools
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) – ability to convey technically complex subjects in a clear and concise manner.
  • Trading systems support along with financial trade floor experience is a plus but not essential, training will be provided.
