Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and versatile SENIOR MARKETING MANAGER who will be responsible for driving Strategic Marketing initiatives and the related Execution for the WE (Western Europe) region, as well as ensure the implementation of new Omnichannel approach.

The role will operate solidly within the WE Pharmaceuticals vertical Segment alongside other regional stakeholders such as Medical/Clinical, Finance, Training & Education, Comm Ex, Supply Chain, R&D, RA, Market Access, Digital Marketing, GPR, etc as well as the Pharmaceuticals Global team to ensure that Baxter’s European Team has a clear direction plus effective traditional and digital tools/programs with which they can approach healthcare professionals/payers in this new virtual setting. Regional Marketing partners with Countries to enable Commercial Execution excellence to accelerate profitable sales.

Travel expected up to 30% of the time.

What you'll be doing

  • Act as primary regional Marketing point of contact for Country teams, Global Portfolio & Marketing Team, Global Strategy Team, etc.
  • Establish and lead regional Strategy and Business focus areas, ensure Countries alignment to regional strategy/priorities (eg launches, business/product positioning and messaging), course correct in a timely manner if needed
  • Own launch execution readiness, effectiveness and compliance, identify root causes behind gaps in new launch performance and drive enhancements to plans
  • Analyse regional business performance and recommend enhancements or corrective actions to plans and capabilities
  • Lead region-wide activities (campaigns, congresses, peer-to-peers, market development) and lift / shift positive successes across markets to drive profitable revenue growth
  • Articulate regional needs, Voice of Customer (internal/external) and market intelligence to Global Team and/or to relevant regional/country stakeholders
  • Liaise effectively with Teams across Geographies and across multiple functions such as Commercial Excellence (incl Pricing), Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Advocacy, Market Access, Medical, Supply Chain, and Training
  • Gather regional inputs for Target Product Profiles (TPP) and coordinate financial business case process
  • Provide data and insight, make recommendations for on-market product introductions (expansion) and effectiveness to optimize the portfolio in-country growth and profitability
  • Supports quality Growth of key revenue generators in the region with an Omnichannel approach and driving product penetration, routine-use as well as new product introduction with digital formats leveraging its strong differentiation. Helps ensure best of class launch execution.
  • Conceptualize and execute on Omnichannel campaigns across the prospect and customer\Personas lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across the ecosystem
  • Gather Customer and Market insights to inform outreach Strategies, increase Customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads
  • Identify Business Model optimization programs (Equipment\asset Management, CAPEX Management, Partnership), build Business Case and provide recommendations, support the decision making process and deliver the approved ones
  • Actively contribute to Business Planning activities for the region including AOP, LRP, Logistics, Optimization programs, etc.
  • Build high quality regional annual Commercial plan (eg. BaxP and any other relevant).
  • Guide and provide input to the Teams when developing their Country annual Commercial plan (eg. BaxP) as well as other Business Planning programs (AOP\LRP, S&OP, Optimization, etc.).
  • Build data insights (Market, Competition landscape, etc.) and guide the organization in ensuring that the appropriate data are used for high Quality decisions
  • Build lasting relationships with key opinion leaders and gain insights from them to develop novel Marketing model
  • Provide product, technical and competitive knowledge to increase competency and effectiveness of country marketing teams, sales representatives and distributors
  • Ensure adherence to pricing strategies for assigned product lines

What you'll bring

  • Extensive Marketing/Commercial experience in the Medical Device/Pharma industry required;
  • Familiarity with Anaesthesia Therapies applied in Operating Theatre and\or ICU settings, as well as proven experience in leading Marketing programs on a regional scale are clear advantages
  • University degree: Master’s/ PhD degree, MBA is a plus Demonstrated record of success in driving new product sales.
  • Background in strategic planning and business development helpful.
  • Preferably training and experience in Digital Marketing with performance history
  • Analytical skills with business acumen: Strong Strategic thinking coupled with Strong Execution skills
  • Top communicator, influencing, negotiation and collaboration skills as well as critical thinking & project management skills cross-culturally
  • Proven track record of operating successfully in a matrix, cross functionally and in geographically disperse team environment
  • Ability to embrace and adapt to change, to manage and succeed in ambiguity Knowledge in various of the following disciplines: Market Research, Segmentation, Targeting and Messaging, Digital & Interactive Marketing, Brand Management, Pricing and Value Messaging, Decision Analytics, Executing Strategic Plans.
