About the Role:

The Marketing Analytics Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping our marketing strategies through data analysis and insights. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting marketing, customer and market data to inform marketing strategies, drive business decisions, and measure the performance of marketing initiatives. This role reports to the VP of Marketing. 

Responsibilities Include:

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Collect and analyze data across marketing platforms to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Generate regular reports on marketing campaign performance and customer behavior.
  • Translate complex data findings into understandable and actionable marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing effectiveness and ROI.

Market Research:

  • Partner with Strategy on market research to understand market trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences.
  • Provide actionable insights based on market research to support marketing strategies.

Media Analytics:

  • Utilize Media Mix Modeling to forecast marketing trends and consumer behavior.
  • Create customer segmentation models to tailor marketing strategies to different audience segments.

Marketing Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and optimize marketing strategies based on findings.
  • Recommend changes to marketing strategies based on data and trends.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Business Technology, Strategy, and other departments to ensure data quality and the integration of analytics into all marketing activities.
  • Assist with the establishment of best practices in analytics and data-driven decision-making across the company.

Technology and Tools:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest analytics tools and technologies; recommend new tools to enhance analytics capabilities.
  • Manage and ensure the proper integration of marketing analytics tools and software.

About the Pay:

  • Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000

  • Final compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field
  • 5-7 years proven experience as a Marketing Analytics Manager or Data Analyst within the retail or grocery sector
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in statistical analysis and the use of statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, APT-Mastercard Test & Learn.)
  • Proficiency with marketing analytics and CRM tools (Google Analytics, Domo, Appsflyer/Branch, Braze, Optimine etc.)
  • Familiarity with customer segmentation, predictive modeling, and market research techniques
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
