Your role at Clorox:
Clorox is transforming its data & technology capabilities and culture. The Data Governance Admin Intern will join the Enterprise Data Governance team that helps drive this transformation through our data governance organization and tools. Data Governance ensures the organization has the policies, standards, and processes to treat data as an asset for value creation. The Data Governance Admin Intern, with guidance of a Data Governance manager, is responsible for supporting our ongoing data governance journey by measuring program adoption, communicating progress, and help drive our ongoing education of dedicated data governance roles across our business functions.
In this role, you will:
The Data Governance team is seeking an intern with an understanding of data, metadata, and information management practices. The ideal candidate should have the ability to make pragmatic sense of nebulous or incomplete concepts and think creatively. Clear communication skills are essential for identifying needs, developing action plans, and implementing solutions. Experience with Microsoft Project and SharePoint is a plus, as is familiarity with databases and SQL. An interest in political sciences, legislative processes, and policy management practices would be advantageous. Additionally, the ability to manage projects efficiently under tight deadlines using agile methodologies is highly valued.
