Our GBAS Digital Strategy practice is looking to hire an experienced SEO Strategist to our team. This individual will align as a Sr. Consultant within Slalom’s career framework. In this role you’ll guide team members and customers to meet and exceed delivery commitments. 

What You’ll Do

Focus on Slalom's Business: 

  • Deliver exceptionally by conducting comprehensive Search Engine Optimization (SEO) assessments and subsequent organic search strategies aligned to our customers’ business needs. 
  • Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits to identify website crawlability and indexing opportunities. 
  • Perform comprehensive on-page SEO audits to assess content quality, keyword relevant, and optimization potential. 
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies in partnership with client teams to improve organic search visibility, traffic, and conversions. 
  • Review website traffic and user behavior data using digital analytics platforms to inform SEO opportunities. 
  • Leverage background in digital media channels, including paid search/SEM, to inform keyword targeting strategies for SEO efforts. 
  • Engage in Digital Strategy engagements outside of SEO areas, including but not limited to MarTech & AdTech strategies, digital analytics assessments, and broad marketing transformation workstreams. 

Grow Expertise:  

  • Grow several advanced functional or technical roles within the digital, marketing, and customer analytics space. 
  • Lend SEO and content strategy expertise to enhance existing and future Slalom capabilities and contribute to cross-market community. 

Grow the Company:  

  • Intentionally growing and managing professional network in delivery environments and/or area of expertise. 
  • Support the growth of the Media & Agency Services practice, including but not limited to SEO thought leadership, content marketing best practices, and potential speaking events within the industry. 

Lead by Example:  

  • Lead and develop self by modeling curiosity, creating a resilient environment, and fostering authenticity. 
  • Provide SEO mentorship and guidance on engagements serving in either full-time or subject matter expertise capacities. 

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience as an SEO Manager, SEO Consultant, or SEO Strategist. 
  • Proficiency working with Organic Search tools and platforms, including but not limited to Google Search Console, Google Keyword Planner, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, etc. 
  • Understanding and in-depth experience with technical SEO activities, including crawling websites and analyzing site crawls, implementation of URL redirect strategies, use of Schema markup and microdata, hreflang/international SEO tactics, and canonical tag deployment. 
  • Knowledge of A/B testing, local SEO techniques, and e-commerce SEO experience a plus 
  • Ability to guide client interviews, provide strategic analysis to diverse audiences, and build comprehensive end-to-end SEO strategies and implementation roadmaps. 
  • Certifications in Google Analytics and/or Google Ads, Adobe Analytics (preferred but not required). 
  • History of managing SEO initiatives in consulting, agency, or industry settings, as well as experience with other digital marketing channels such as paid search, social media, or content marketing. 
  • Ability to apply your experience in SEO to other Digital Strategy initiatives, including AdTech & MarTech, Marketing In-housing, Agency Operating Models, and Marketing/Digital Analytics.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In New York, the base salary pay range for this position is $131,000 to $185,000. In New Jersey, the base salary pay range for this position is $120,000 to $186,000. In Washington, the base salary pay range for this position is $120,000 to $186,000. In Colorado, the base salary pay range for this position is $110,000 to $171,000. In California, the base salary pay range for this position is $110,000 to $203,000. The targeted base salary range for this position is $135,000 to $165,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
