Job Description:

  • Assist sales and merchandising managers in planning, organizing, and executing projects to achieve sales targets and merchandising objectives
  • Coordinate sales and merchandising activities, resources, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project milestones
  • Prepare project documentation, including sales plans, merchandising strategies, schedules, meeting agendas, and status reports
  • Facilitate project meetings, record minutes, and track action items to ensure follow-up and accountability
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and escalate as necessary to ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain project files, records, and documentation in an organized and accessible manner
  • Communicate project updates, sales performance, merchandising initiatives, and deliverables to stakeholders, team members, and management
  • Assist in the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance sales and merchandising project efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, merchandising, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives
  • Support ad-hoc sales and merchandising-related tasks and initiatives as assigned by sales and merchandising managers or leadership

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, merchandising, or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience as a project coordinator or similar role, preferably in sales and merchandising
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or Trello
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and analytically
  • Knowledge of sales and merchandising principles, strategies, and best practices is a plus
