LG Electronics Air Solutions Division is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us as a Graphic Design Intern. Applicants must be current students in a 4-year degree program focused on graphic design or illustration. In this role, This is a great opportunity for a talented student to gain professional experience. While this is an entry-level role, we expect applicants to have a working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.

LG's 2024 Summer Internship Program will be a 9 week internship from June 3rd through August 2nd, 2024.

The internship will be based in the office at the LG Air Solutions office in Alpharetta GA and pay an hourly rate of $23.50.

The LG Internship Program is built on the philosophy of ensuring that each intern is given the opportunity to perform robust and meaningful work while gaining real-world experience.

The program will also include each intern working on an individual strategic project for the department and delivering a presentation at the program’s end. 

Responsibilities

As a graphic designer intern, you will create graphics for digital and print collateral, including social media, brochures, flyers, advertisements, web page graphics, and more and gain valuable experience with a national brand. The graphic design intern must have a premium design aesthetic and must be a hard-working, self-motivated, pro-active person with a creative eye and passion for their work. With the ability to work well in a busy environment, either individually or as part of a team

Qualifications

Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited College/University

Rising Junior or Senior in Bachelor's degree program

Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and any video editing and or digital platforms

Skills include a thorough understanding of the design process, an eye for detail and the ability to utilize Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and video editing software. Ability to work independently and with a team. Ability to manage multiple projects. Excellent verbal and written skills.

Knowledge of design principles and understanding of branding, marketing and advertising concepts

You must submit a portfolio of work to be considered.
