We are seeking a Business Process Analyst IV. Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives to resolve systemic business issues within Financial Systems Applications, including Oracle Cloud Financials. Diagrams and evaluates existing processes. Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams. Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities. Collects data to identify root cause of problems. Provides recommended remediation solutions and will manage the process to implement the mitigation.

Measures performance against process requirements. Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls. Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality. May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control. Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes. Communicates team progress. Performs cost and benefit analyses.

Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.

This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our office in Alpharetta, GA. Hybrid schedule will be Tues, Wed, Thurs in the office. 

Your Impact

Responsibilities:

  • Performs assessments and analyses of accounting work processes, systems, and procedures. 
  • Identifies and analyzes accounting processes and procedures for process automation opportunities.
  • Develops and communicates solutions for continuous process improvement.
  • Creates and modifies solutions across Oracle modules.
  • Evaluates and coordinates testing of quarterly releases for areas of responsibility.
  • Support audit requests and periodic security role reviews.
  • Serves as escalation contact for resolving complex problems.
  • Works closely with technical team to ensure design and technical deliverables meet project objectives.
  • Designs comprehensive functional and technical end-user training.
  • Additional responsibilities to support organizational goals.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 8 years of relevant work experience -OR- an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Experience should include 5 years of progressive Accounting experience with at least 3 years as super user with Oracle Cloud subledger accounting reporting.
  • Previous experience within Oracle Cloud Financials (GL, Cash Management, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Asset modules) and Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Modules (Financial Close and Consolidations, Enterprise Data Management Cloud, and Oracle Account Reconciliations)
  • Oracle Cloud certifications a significant plus
  • MBA or CPA a plus
  • Lean Six Sigma certifications a plus

Other Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and record to report cycles
  • Experience with developing and/or improving internal controls systematically
  • Demonstrated experience with process improvement and re-engineering
  • Demonstrated business acumen with a strong understanding of financial controls and financial statements
  • Previous experience as a subject matter expert in an enterprise-wide Oracle Cloud ERP implementation
  • Proven track record as an organizational change agent
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to direct and create rapport and push back when needed
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to quickly develop working relationships across teams and communicate both up and down the Corporate hierarchy
  • Public accounting experience preferred
  • Health care industry experience preferred
