As the Product Manager, Crew Operations Data Product, you will be leading the development and execution of the data product vision and strategy for Flight Crew and Cabin Crew branches.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders, to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business growth and enhance customer experiences. This pivotal role will steer our data roadmap and vision with an emphasis on a continuous product delivery model.

Responsibilities:

  • As a Data Product Manager, you will be responsible for setting the vision, roadmap, and priorities for data-driven initiatives.
  • You will develop a training path to increase data fluency within the organization.
  • You will lead cross-functional teams to drive outcomes.
  • You will define, prioritize, and manage the data product backlog, guiding development with agile delivery teams.
  • You will analyze business needs, translate them into functional requirements, and develop data solutions to meet stakeholders’ needs. 
  • You will oversee the development stages and progress of the delivery team.
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders and teams by monitoring delivery progress and reporting key milestones to the leadership team.
  • Devise innovative and effective approaches to address business problems through data analytics.
  • Understand and document data dependencies and business rules of the developed solution.
  • Create data flow diagrams of the developed solution, including the relationship between source and data-consuming systems.
  • Comprehend and document the logical processes and interfaces with other systems of the developed solution. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration) or relevant experience in Aviation and/or Technology. 
  • 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager, a Business Analyst or a Product Owner on Data projects.
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Be a creative thinker with the ability to define and execute a vision, and the flexibility to pivot as needed.
  • Have strong quantitative and analytical skills, as well as business acumen and sound judgment.
  • Be an independent self-starter with a can-do attitude and a desire to learn.
  • Have experience working with analytics, data platforms, and user testing to drive outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of Flight & Cabin Crew operations and its unique data challenges and opportunities is a strong asset.
