What we are looking for:

Yazaki is looking for a Summer Intern to join the Corporate Communications team in Corporate Planning. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization. 

What you will be doing:

  • Support internal and external content/updating
  • Utilize graphic design software to create visually appealing banners and graphics for email campaigns, websites, and intranet, aligning with corporate branding guidelines.
  • Understand design requirements and contribute to the development of creative solutions for various digital and print materials.
  • Assist in designing graphic templates for newsletters, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging across internal and external communications.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to design eye-catching digital signage content for internal displays and external events.
  • Lead internal survey on Yazaki branding/communication style
  • This feedback will be used to shape future content and communications

What you will bring to the table:

  • Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution at the time of internship
  • Degree/experience related to the position (Business, Graphic Design, Communications,etc)
  • Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0
  • Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours a week
  • Technical skills per individual job
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
