We're looking for a skilled and imaginative Video Editor to contribute to our exciting projects. You will be an integral part of our creative team, bringing concepts to life through visually stunning and impactful video content. You'll work on a diverse range of projects, from promotional videos to narrative storytelling, collaborating with talented professionals in a dynamic and inspiring environment. The ideal candidate should be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate closely with producers, designers, and other stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and effective communication are a must, along with a passion for the digital video landscape. 

Where You’ll Be 

To prioritize togetherness, culture, and accountability, RVO Health operates on a hybrid in-office work schedule. We expect employees to work from our New York office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. You are welcome to work remotely Mondays and Fridays if you wish.

What You’ll Do

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, visually appealing videos that meet the creative vision and objectives of each project.
  • Utilize advanced editing techniques, color correction, and motion graphics to enhance the overall quality of videos.
  • Collaborate with producers and other team members to understand project goals and create compelling visual narratives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the target audience and tailor video content to resonate with their interests.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, editing software, and emerging technologies to continuously improve video production capabilities.
  • Contribute creative ideas during pre-production meetings and provide input on overall video concepts.
  • Work closely with the production team, including cinematographers, graphic designers, and sound engineers, to ensure seamless integration of all elements.
  • Communicate effectively and receive feedback constructively to refine and enhance video content.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Organize and maintain an efficient file management system for video assets and project files.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of final videos to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with the project's creative direction.
  • Address any post-production issues promptly and efficiently.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Film Production, Video Editing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse editing styles and techniques.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
  • Solid understanding of video codecs, file formats, and compression techniques.
  • Strong storytelling skills and a keen eye for visual composition.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company. The following benefits are provided by RVO Health, subject to eligibility requirements.

  • Starting Salary: $54,500 - $80,000*
  • Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications and experience
