We are looking for a visionary to join our Brand Communications Team in California. We are a small, tight knit team in United States, and the environment will be close to that of a start-up; we wear a lot of hats, brainstorm a lot of ideas, and are filled with passion for all things fashion & 3D. As a Brand Communications Manager, you will serve as an integral member of the communications team by coordinating and developing marketing policies, programs, and campaigns. The Brand Communications Manager will implement a comprehensive communications plan through client and industry brand partnerships, event planning, and content creation for digital platforms such as social media, the company blog, and brand website. Our team has grand visions of how to reach our users and clients, but it will be your job to bring these dreams to life.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing an integrated strategic cross-platform communications plan in alignment with CLO’s communication priorities to advance our brand identity and increase awareness and visibility. 
  • Managing user relations and analyzing industry trends and activity to best reach key markets. Developing relationships with publications in tech, fashion, and relevant industries. 
  • Working with Brand Communications, Design, and Biz Dev Teams to produce engaging video content and communications across digital platforms including CLO’s website and social media channels.
  • Outreach to our large group of existing clients to promote cross-branding and story-telling through communications including video content and company blog posts.
  • Distributing press releases to announce major updates to the software or landmark items through BusinessWire.
  • Strategically implementing software updates and major company announcements into the communications plan.
  • Tracking and measuring the success of campaigns with the ability to course correct and recommend alternative solutions as needed.
  • Spearheading the planning of regional trade shows and events, and working in tandem with global Brand Communications team to plan and execute events that are on a global scale.
  • Receiving and processing all requests related to branding and marketing.
  • Exercising judgment in assessing and prioritizing potential marketing opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, PR, communications, or related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in marketing, communications, or related field in a hands-on capacity. Internship experience counts. 
  • Experience in writing and editing engaging copy for websites, newsletters, social media, blogs, or ads
  • Familiarity with PR and marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Mailchimp, and Business Wire
  • Ability to track and analyze marketing metrics to determine the success of campaigns and make the necessary recommendations for improvements
  • Creative, analytical, thoughtful, driven, and takes initiative with excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate strong judgment and negotiation skills 
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Self-reliant and a results-oriented personality
  • Agile, with great communication skills and the proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Demonstrate a strong, positive, and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to invest long term

Plus if you have

  • Fluency in Korean 
  • Previous experience at a technology or software company
