Position Purpose
CIM Group is a vertically integrated owner, operator, lender, and developer of real assets. We have a legacy of using Yardi as our system of record for accounting and are therefore subject to SOX compliance. CIM Group currently utilizes Yardi 7S modules for commercial and residential property operations, including budgeting and forecasting and other Elevate dashboard and reporting modules. Additionally, we are rolling out Investment Accounting and Performance Manager across the entire CRE portfolio. Our Construction and Development groups are one of the largest implementations of the Yardi construction management and job cost platforms and we continue to expand capabilities in P2P and other areas.
CIM is looking for a Yardi expert who will manage and have full responsibility for the CIM Group Yardi platforms. This includes the introduction of enhancements and changes into the platform related to many different modules assuring they are fully vetted and tested as to not introduce risk to already functioning services. You will also manage a team of technology professionals to facilitate, manage, and document all configurations, customizations, and integrations as well as deliver reports and other enhancements utilizing the internal technical team and outside vendors. This role will work with various business relationship managers within the IT organization to implement, document, test, and support the Yardi applications. The Yardi Product Owner will operate at the enterprise level to optimize delivery practices and processes that align with business objectives. He/she is also responsible for the administration and support of our Yardi system, including evaluating, documenting, and maintaining the system up to date with the latest available plug-ins, controlling user access and permissions, and keeping the system compliant with both internal and external audits. To be successful, the person in this role must be motivated, forward-thinking, and detail-oriented as well as possess the ability to communicate effectively, with excellent people management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
