Responsibilities

  • Perform deep dive analytics to understand the impact of drivers on customer growth & engagement for the segment, performance & develop recommendations and strategies to maximizing business growth and financial profitability
  • Interact regularly with the segment team to understand goals, priorities & play the role of an effective partner to devise strategies with customer focused analysis to realize growth opportunities
  • Leverage advanced analytical techniques to develop strategies that can be leveraged to improve engagement & customer retention
  • Use 3rd party data sources like Bureau data, survey data & other tools to profile & develop hypotheses around the customer behavior at granular segments
  • Develop the OKRs to measure & inform the performance at segment level
  • Self-directed Leader partners with to gain consensus with stakeholders on a robust data and analytic road map. Exceptional influencing and communication skills to executive audiences. 
  • Proven Manager, capable of overseeing diverse teams

Required Qualifications, Skills and capabilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business, finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, or related quantitative field
  • 6+ years of related experience within marketing, finance or risk analysis; experience evaluating complex business problems, data analysis and devising recommendations 
  • Deep understanding in foundational theories in Machine Learning is expect - e.g. regression, classification, clustering, time series, econometrics, causal inference, mathematical optimization, neural network)
  • Experience with scaling models for large consumer bases
  • Exposure in following areas is expected – NLP, Recommender Systems, Inferential Statistics.
  • Structured thinker with passion for analyzing results and digging deeper. Strong data story telling skills to deliver analytical insights to stakeholders & Ability to communicate effectively with executives, business partners, and technical resources in analytics and data management.
  • Proficiency writing code to query data using SQL, working knowledge of database environments to perform data analysis in Oracle and/or Unix and/or Teradata environment
  • Process- and controls-oriented leader, maintains a strong system of internal governance and controls

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and capabilities:

  • Understanding of the key drivers within the credit card P&L is preferred.
  • Skills in other languages such as R, Python is not a must but desired & knowledge of tools like Tableau, Alteryx, AWS, Snowflake.
  • Hands on experience in AWS ML allied tools i.e. Sagemaker, Lambda, API Gateway, EMR, GPU enabled AMIs, Transcribe etc.
  • Exposure to Model Quantization, Model Explainabilities, Model Monitorin
