The Boeing Global Services (BGS) is actively seeking a dynamic, customer-centric sales focused Inside Sales & Support Customer Consultant, specializing in Business & General Aviation sales in the Americas. As a Customer Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in promptly addressing customer inquiries, requests, and concerns via various communication channels while ensuring their satisfaction with every interaction. Additionally, you will leverage your expertise to convert customer inquiries into orders and utilize our platform efficiently for order processing.

Your responsibilities will also include resolving complex issues, providing technical support, and engaging in consultative sales discussions to identify tailored solutions for navigation and training needs. A comprehensive understanding of our products and services will be essential for effectively communicating their features and benefits to customers. Moreover, you will collaborate with internal teams to enhance the customer experience, cultivate strong relationships, and take ownership of the customer journey for your assigned base.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and courteous assistance to customers via phone calls, emails, and chat, addressing inquiries, requests, and concerns effectively.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of products and services, effectively communicating their features and benefits to customers. This includes providing detailed information on various Jeppesen and ForeFlight charting and NavData solutions tailored to avionics systems such as Garmin, Avidyne, Proline 21, Honeywell, and more.
  • Utilize active listening and problem-solving skills to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions, enhancing their overall experience.
  • Convert customer inquiries into orders, demonstrating strong sales skills and product knowledge to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues, maintain open communication, and ensure timely order delivery.
  • Continuously seek feedback to improve the customer experience and implement process improvements where necessary.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including data security protocols, to maintain the integrity of customer information and transactions.
  • Escalate sensitive issues or complex customer concerns to management for quick resolution, ensuring a satisfactory outcome.
  • Engage in consultative sales discussions with customers to identify appropriate solutions for navigation and training needs, enhancing their overall experience.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in customer service or sales roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a positive attitude and willingness to adapt to change.
  • Demonstrates organization skills, coachability, strong willingness to learn, and proficient information retention capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Multi-lingual skills
  • Aviation background
  • Familiarity with Oracle CRM tool or willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of various avionics systems and charting tools is advantageous.

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Average Pay Summary: $47,600 - $64,400
