Boeing's Supplier Financial Risk Management group is currently looking for a Senior Supplier Financial Risk Management Analyst to join the team in Seattle, WA, in the heart of the Puget Sound area.

Supplier Financial Risk Management (SFRM) is responsible for identifying, assessing and mitigating situations of financial risk and distress within the Boeing supply chain. The team operates enterprise-wide, and works closely with each business unit, as well as with Boeing Legal and Boeing Enterprise Credit Risk.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assess financially-distressed supplier situations, as identified by Enterprise Credit and/or the business unit, and lead the development of mitigation strategies that meet the requirements of the procurement teams
  • Perform significant financial analysis and assessment of the supplier’s near-term and long-term financial viability, including 3-statement financial modeling, 13-week cash flow projections, development of distressed lending business cases, and other similar analyses
  • Work with procurement and legal teams to develop and evaluate mitigation strategies
  • Participate in negotiations with suppliers and other stakeholders to effectuate mitigations
  • Prepare presentation materials to be utilized for approval, update and decision-making purposes
  • Ad hoc activities related to financial risk monitoring and mitigation

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience with analysis of financial statements, financial or resource forecasts, and/or the assessment of associated risks and opportunities
  • 5+ years of experience with workout/financial distressed suppliers’ situations
  • 3+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers, and multiple levels of leadership
  • 3+ years of experience with PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis and presentations

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working with restructuring
  • Strong desire to work as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work on multiple supplier situations at one time
  • Ability to operate in changing environment
  • Propensity toward action and ability to make decisions with incomplete or inaccurate information

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $141,950 - $185,000
