About the team:

The Solution Advisory department for Digital Supply Chain of SAP Germany supports all sales units of SAP Germany with strong expertise of SAP´s Digital Supply Chain solution portfolio along Design to Operate. The team creates future demand for our solutions and creates professional demonstration, explanation, and value proposition of those solutions to our customers and prospects.

With our competences and our know-how in SAP’s Digital Supply Chain solutions, we explore problems and challenges of our customers and provide the best possible solution capabilities. In this phase, as Solution Advisory we take over planning and coordination of activities with which we convince the customer of our solution focusing always on the added value for our customers to be able address customer’s business and IT units even more efficiently.

What you’ll do:

Position title: Working Student (f/m/d) – Solution Advisory & Business Development SAP Digital Supply Chain

Work Area: Presales

Location: Walldorf (remote work possible within Germany)

Expected start date: February 1st, 2024

In this role, you’ll:

  • Responsible for supporting and coordinating Solution Advisory and Business Development activities also in agreement across other SAP business units as Specialized Sales, Industry Sales, Marketing, Consulting and external Partners.
  • Create innovative & inspiring sales videos, offline demos, and demo videos for Digital Supply Chain
  • Work on sales inquiries, opportunities, and tenders
  • Work closely with colleagues within the sales department, business development, marketing, consulting, and our partner network
  • Be responsible for internal collaboration based on SAP JAM, MS Sharepoint, etc.
  • Support the further development of the brand "Digital Supply Chain" within SAP Germany
  • Contribute to solve many other challenges to make this time as memorable and rewarding as possible

Who you are:

You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Preferred field(s) of study: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operational Economics, Economic Computer Science (Wirtschaftsinformatik)
  • Passion for/or experience in Supply Chain with great desire to drive change! 
  • Strong communication and people skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, MS collaboration tools) as well as, social media and video tools 
  • Bring a passion for technology and how it changes businesses
  • Ability to lead by influence
  • Self-driven, be able to work independently and outside the box thinking
  • Fluent in English and German
