Overview

The PC Business Unit Program Management Internship is an opportunity to learn and help solve some of the challenges of managing a portfolio of IC and SW project across a global engineering organization of ~300 engineers. You will be working directly with Sr Director of Program Management and apply your skills and creativity to automate reporting and visualization of data from different sources to help enable key business decisions. Our internship is designed for individuals who are currently enrolled at an accredited college/university and who will be continuing their studies in the fall.

The typical base pay range for this position is USD $27.50 - $50.00 per hour. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Note that compensation listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only.

Responsibilities

Job Duties

  • Help the business management team and program managers to automate reports generation and data collection
  • You will have the opportunity to learn about different aspects of program management in technology sector and understand what it takes to run a research & development business efficiently

Qualifications

  • Candidates should be seeking a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Computer Science or related
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic
  • Preferably knowledge of one or more: bug tracking systems (JIRA), Microsoft Project, SQL Databases, Tableau, requirement management SW (jama), Visual C++
  • Able to work independently at times and dedicate a minimum of 20 hours/week
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your employment and criminal history
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
