Job Summary:

Our systems engineering internship offers a variety of hands-on experience, depending on your area of interest and experience. You will receive hands-on experience in a cross-functional role to define future product requirements, design and document system architecture, and aid in the development and test of Precision Ag solutions. These systems use GNSS, inertial sensors and actuators such as hydraulic systems, electric motors and steer-by-wire interfaces to create market leading high reliability systems with sophisticated and intuitive touch-screen user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Become intimately familiar with product requirements

Work with product developers to make sure that new features are created according to market requirements

Work with Marketing product owners to define stakeholder requirements

Work with development teams on complex, multi-dimensional projects, and learn valuable leadership skills

Learn how to effectively work under pressure and as part of a team

Recommended Skills & Experience

Candidates currently pursuing a degree in Systems, Electrical, Computer, Software, Mechanical, or Agricultural Engineering, or other related field

Effective written and verbal communication skills

High attention to details with strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively

Adaptable to change and ambiguity

Strong customer focus and strives to meet or exceed customer expectations

Ability to think critically and work independently or collaborate with a team

A wide degree of creativity, openness, and latitude when approaching problems

Pay Equity

Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
