Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant – Cloud Program Manager

Supports Client & Delivery efforts to improve organizational effectiveness on our journey to Intelligent Operations. Digital & Analytical skill expert with experience in driving business impact initiatives across multiple clients. They work with an extended team to provide process, tools, methods, and business transformation practices across the organization aligned to this Client Journey. Employee to ensures alignment of the Quality initiatives to the vertical/functional strategic priorities. Is expected to drive change, solve business process challenges, and generate business impact by leading high impact cloud migration initiatives. Ability to communicate with people of varying levels of technical ability; comfortable with CXO and CXO-1 levels. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall delivery and scope of the schedule, budget, communications, risks, issues, dependencies and tracking all deliverables and milestones and resources.
  • Combines Project Management expertise with an understanding of the technology enabling the client's Cloud Migration delivery.
  • Enforces project changes management to determine if a change is in scope or requires a project change request.
  • Works closely with technical leaders on the delivery team, understands/facilitates technical discussions with the team, supports and helps resolve technical issues impacting delivery, Will answer high level technical questions without a dependency on additional technical resources.
  • Demonstrates an attitude of ownership and willingness to learn and lead.
  • Possesses strong client facing skills and operates as a trusted advisor on Modernization solutions, easily bridges business solutions and technology.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies which supports proposing new innovative approaches to the client.
  • Continually learns from SME’s.
  • Quickly identifies when a problem exists, communicate it and address it early.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as project management, engineering, computer science, or a related field is often required. Some positions may prefer candidates with a master's degree or relevant certifications.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Project Management Certification: Many job postings prefer or require candidates to hold certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified associate in project management (CAPM) from organizations like the Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • Experience: Depending on the level of the position, relevant work experience in project management or related roles is usually required. This may range from a few years to a decade or more, depending on the complexity of the projects being managed.
  • Leadership Skills: Project managers need strong leadership abilities to effectively lead teams, make decisions, and drive projects to successful completion. This includes skills such as team building, motivation, conflict resolution, and decision-making.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are crucial for project managers to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, clients, and other relevant parties. This includes written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Project managers must be highly organized and able to effectively manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and resources simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify issues, analyse situations, and develop effective solutions is essential for project managers to overcome challenges and obstacles that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Understanding and managing risks associated with projects is critical. Project managers should be able to identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor risk throughout the project.
  • Technical Skills: Depending on the industry and nature of the project, specific technical skills may be required. For example, knowledge of project management software, industry-specific tools, or technical expertise related to the project domain.
  • Adaptability: Projects can be dynamic, with requirements and circumstances changing over time. Project managers need to be adaptable and flexible in their approach to accommodate these changes while still achieving project objectives.
