We are now looking for a committed “Account Manager Retail DACH (m/f/d)” to essentially contribute to the growth and success of our AutoID Retail business at Honeywell Productivity Solutions and Services division. 

Besides the headquarter in Neuss, Germany, also a Home Office solution and other Honeywell locations, close to the relevant customer base in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, might be considered as suitable, according to the business requirements. 

Your Responsibilities 

  • Manage the sales activities of named retail accounts and develop as well as implement an effective selling strategy for the Retail AutoID business in general 
  • Be responsible to plan and execute all activities to generate profitable revenue within your relevant retail accounts 
  • Grow and build the sales revenue in the DACH territory, to optimize top and bottom line of the regional retail P&L for the business 
  • Win software and hardware solutions within the named accounts to grow the business in a profitable way 
  • Develop high-level (CxO) business relationships with top corporations, alliances and channel partners 
  • Win large new retail customers within the AutoID business 
  • Focus on solution selling, covering product delivery and position Honeywell´s whole portfolio 
  • Ensure best customer experience based on own, team and channel excellence 
  • Aim for operational excellence and proper forecasting, supporting a review philosophy 
  • Drive a stretch goal culture - facilitate collaboration with all lines-of-business and functions within Honeywell on a European and global level to maximize an organized and efficient team-approach 

Your Profile 

  • 5+ years of demonstrated sales experience within a comparable role related to the AutoID industry 
  • Experience in managing large scale accounts and proven track-record in acquiring new customers within AutoID industry 
  • Solid understanding of the DACH retail market with its relevant structures and processes 
  • Experienced in owning P&L based business, with a strong result orientation and a customer centric and entrepreneurial mindset 
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication and consulting skills, with the ability to successfully interact on all levels up to senior / executive management 
  • Experience in establishing a culture of operational excellence with accurate weekly forecasting, monthly reviewing and quarterly business check 
  • Ability to build and develop high energy and performance driven cross-functional teams 
  • A highly proactive and analytical approach, with the ability to take ownership, execute effectively and drive sustainable improvements 
  • Skilled in ensuring success in matrix organizations, with a passion for teamwork and collaboration in an international environment 
  • Proficiency in German and Englisch, both written and spoken
