About the Role

Workday is looking for a Senior Manager, Professional Services Finance. You will report to the Director of Professional Services Finance and support North America PS SVP's. You will help establish business performance standards and metrics and drive internal processes and systems to be simple, predictive and accessible. You will ensure due diligence is applied to business decisions, maintaining the integrity of reported information, synthesizing that information into a strategic asset, and forecasting with a high level of predictability. You will partner with North America Services Leadership, Operations and Corp Finance.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with North America Services Leadership to establish and drive functional budget tracking standards.
  • Support consolidation and provide insights for the Global Services P&L.
  • Work with the services leadership to drive the development of strategic (multi-year) long-term financial plans.
  • Develop and implement short-term financial and operational plans (budgets and forecasts).
  • Ensure that business and financial plans include defined and measurable initiatives and programs aligned to support such plans.
  • Review and revise critical metrics as needed to ensure they provide the right clarity into the business.
  • Provide management team with informative decision support/business analysis. Build and maintain strong business controls.
  • Understand competitive landscape, including business strategies, cost structures and key business metrics.
  • Develop and present executive level presentations to summarize key messages and drive decision making.
  • Expertly present monthly and quarterly financial packages, providing qualitative financial analysis around key performance indicators.
  • Lead and mentor a team of four direct reports.

About You

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of related experience across FP&A, Strategic Finance, Strategy, or Operations, including prior people leadership experience.

Other Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Customer organizations, especially Professional Services or GTM preferred.
  • Consistent record of developing people, leading and managing successful teams to be strategic business partners.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills demonstrating the ability to synthesize sophisticated topics into clear and concise messages.
  • Financial modeling experience & analytical skills with a focus on building scalable, repeatable tools & processes with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to understand the business beyond finance, and strong ability to think strategically.
  • Strong record of career advancement with a well-rounded background in functions including financial planning, business partnering, and financial support.
  • Ability to work across a geographically dispersed organization.
  • Roll-up-the-sleeves attitude and a hands-on approach.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Google Sheets and Slides.
  • Knowledge of Workday Financials or Adaptive Planning a plus.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $168,000 USD - $252,000 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $140,600 USD - $252,000 USD
