This is your role. What part will you play?

As the Lead UX Designer at Siemens, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience across our diverse range of products and solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that our user-centered design approach aligns with business goals and user needs. With your extensive experience, you will lead and mentor a team of UX designers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

  • Lead the end-to-end UX design process, from conceptualization to final implementation, for our products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project goals, user requirements, and success metrics.
  • Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
  • Develop and maintain user personas, journey maps, and user flows to guide design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mock-ups to communicate design concepts and interactions effectively.
  • Drive the development of a cohesive design system that ensures consistency and enhances the overall user experience.
  • Provide design guidance and feedback to your team members, ensuring the quality and alignment of design deliverables.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions.
  • Present design concepts and strategies to internal teams and stakeholders, incorporating feedback and iterating as needed.
  • Champion user-centered design principles within the organization and advocate for the importance of a seamless user experience.

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in designing successful products and solutions.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability principles.
  • Experience leading and mentoring design teams, fostering collaboration and growth.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex ideas into simple and intuitive design solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for user needs.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies and constraints is beneficial.
