Job Summary:

The Benefits Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the LSS and CH retirement plans, health and welfare benefits, voluntary benefits, and paid time off programs - including report generation, analysis, and communication to LSS/CH employees. Research benefit options and assist management with the development and design of benefits programs. The position will ensure that plans are administered consistent with organization objectives and strategy and that all plans are in compliance with COBRA, ACA, and other federal, state, and city regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent lived experience required.
  • Two to four years of employee benefits administration.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable regulations and legislation (HIPAA, COBRA, ACA) required.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate Excel knowledge and experience.
  • Proficient in Human Resource Information Systems (experience with UKG and/or Kronos preferred).
  • Experience in project management is required.
  • Certified Employee Benefit Specialist is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
