Create accurate and detailed documentation sets that allow the customer and internal employees to understand and use Amdocs products effectively and efficiently.

What will your job look like?

  • Craft publications that explain the company’s products to its customers and internal audience and allow full use of its functionality.
  • Ensure that documentation meets industry standards of quality, usability and format using writing expertise and product knowledge.
  • Assume full responsibility for all official documents of product applications and create and maintain the application's documentation and/or training framework, as well as the content of its publications.
  • Continuously gain knowledge of product's new functionality via attendance at Design Review, Focus Team, Opportunity Team, and Scrum meetings as well as reading design documents, interviewing SMEs and using the product itself. Use this knowledge to independently create new version documents
  • Estimate time and effort required for documentation tasks and contribute to documentation plans.
  • Conduct peer-review on documentation for other members of the Technical Publications team.

All you need is...

  • At least 4 years of experience in technical writing or other relevant subject.
  • Familiarity with and excellent knowledge of at least one authoring tool. Structured authoring experience such as DITA XML a preference.
  • Knowledge of technical and business aspects of software development.
  • Prior experience in programming or technical knowledge.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment a preference.
