The Operations Multimedia Intern will be part of the EduFinance communications team and be responsible for creating multimedia content that promotes Opportunity International's mission while adhering to its core values. The intern will gather stories on programmatic priorities, which will help the organization produce timely and consistent messaging for internal and external use. In addition to creating original audio-visual print and web materials, they will support the production processes and collaborate with other departments to visually reinforce and support Opportunity International's work.

RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Support the development of on-brand internal and external presentations with the guidance of the Communications Manager.
  • Take photos, video and audios– and produce compelling stories presented as photo essays, videos, motion graphics to be used on blogs and social media posts.
  • Support sub-awardee brand consistency by providing technical assistance and reformatting and branding
  • Maintain Opportunity International’s digital asset management system by labeling photos and videos correctly.
  • Preparation of print and web publications, including brochures, event materials, templates, and web page material.
  • Assist with other production-related communication

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Seeking or completed a bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Some experience in filming, editing, and producing rich content and multimedia is preferred.
  • Prior experience with videography and video editing.
  • Prior experience with photo editing.
  • Graphic design skills (experience with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, etc. preferred).
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills: ability to collaborate effectively with culturally diverse people in the local communities where we work.
  • Passionate about Opportunity’s mission. Able to promote and communicate the organization’s goals and objectives to external and internal stakeholders.

CAPSTONE PROJECT 

The intern will produce compelling 60-second videos and infographics for ‘60 with EduFinance’ highlighting our impact, approach, and learnings for social media and internal communication.
