Job Description

THE ROLE: Coordinator, Media Operations

Media Operations is seeking a new Coordinator to help manage the delivery of promotions and commercial videos scheduled for broadcast. We pride ourselves in our excellent reputation to ensure that everything that is scheduled, makes it to air. We have a wonderful team that creates and sends the work orders for this media to be prepared and checked for quality control prior to air. We coordinate with the proper teams and various vendors to troubleshoot any technical, content, or delivery issues requiring media correction or replacement. We also create and distribute a Missing List with the status and progression of scheduled programs from arrival to ingest. This role sends purge requests for primary assets no longer needed or approved and fulfills other requests for media and records from vendors and other A+E teams.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Ensure all scheduled media has been delivered and accepted for the following day’s broadcast. Communicate all outstanding assets or issues with needed team members and personnel. Document any discrepancies and coordinate with the necessary parties for correction and re-delivery. Support the Media Operations department on evenings, weekends, and holidays. Provide coverage for the team when members take personal or wellness days.

Schedule: Thursday – Monday 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Confirm delivery of any outstanding marketing assets to the Broadcast FTP
  • Responsible for all after hour, weekend and holiday communications and coverage for Media Operations
  • Create work orders for outstanding commercials and promos.
  • Confirm ingest for all delivered assets.
  • Send out daily contingent promo lists and validate the media.
  • Coordinate delivery of live poll results promo
  • Manage the record creation, delivery, and ingest for billboards.
  • Step in to manage other workflows when needed.

YOUR STORY:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or Similar Degree or Training
  • Minimum 1 Year of experience
  • Ability to learn multiple workflows.
  • Critical Thinking and Problem-solving skills a must
  • Technical ability to work within multiple applications.
  • Flexibility to shift between priorities and assignments.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Reliable and Accountable
  • Strong contributor with excellent teamwork

Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A+E Networks on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than eighteen (18) months.

Compensation

Contract Hourly Pay Rate: $34.04

The pay rate displayed serves as a good faith estimate for this role.
